Our objective as a cocoa buying company is to purchase high quality, well fermented and dried cocoa beans from cocoa farmers within the cocoa farming communities in which we operate.

In addition to cocoa purchases, the CJ sustainability program is building a supply chain that meets the aspirations of farming communities whiles addressing commitments and expectations of downstream supply chain actors. Key personnel within our supply chain are trained on the proper handling of cocoa beans ensuring food safety and on the usage of the mandatory reporting templates to help us monitor the movement of our cocoa beans from the society level to the port, culminating our robust traceability system.
