CJ envisions a future with a fully sustainable cocoa supply chain, focusing on traceability and its proper measurement to ensure supply chain integrity, and building a framework of best practices that provide cocoa farmers and their communities with long-term, positive support.

Key to our progress so far has been effective collaboration, therefore we work directly with our suppliers to advance sustainability, address systemic challenges and enforce our Supplier Code of Conduct, which prohibits forced and child labor. In addition, we are keen on working with other players in the food industry to address social and environmental issues in the cocoa supply chain.

The drive to contribute to a thriving cocoa industry places a responsibility on us not only to ensure the delivery of cocoa beans of the highest quality but also sustainably sourced cocoa beans while improving the livelihoods of farmers and farming communities. In pursuit of this, 4 core pillars have been instituted, out of which activities under the CJ SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM are couched.
